Effective April 1, 2017 or as contracts allow, Mallard Creek Polymers, Inc. will increase prices for BarrierPro®, Rovene®, Tychem®, Tylac® and Tykote® styrene butadiene latex, styrene acrylic copolymers, acrylic polymer emulsions, and resin supported products for all customers in all markets by 3 cents per wet pound.
The price increase is driven by general inflation and numerous raw material increases. Commodity chemical availability around the world continues to be limited, so securing these chemicals will remain challenging and costly.
